A healthy exercise
This daily commute became tolerable because there was significantly less traffic on the roads. The downside is that the normal frustrations will resume today as schools, and businesses, return from this extended break.
One reason is the sheer number of children who no longer walk to school. There are many factors behind this trend – safety, idleness and the extended distance that many youngsters now travel to attend lessons as parents seek the best possible education for their offspring.
