A171 Whitby closed after crash
Emergency services are dealing with a "number of casualties" after a crash on the A171 at Whitby.
It happened around 3.30pm at Airy Hill and involved two cars.
North Yorkshire Police say delays are likely.
Officers are advising motorists to find an alternative route.
