A61 Ripon bypass shut after woman injured in crash
Firefighters have freed a woman who was trapped in a car following a crash on the Ripon bypass.
The road remains closed for accident investigation work following the accident just before 12pm, which involved a Vauxhall Corsa and a Toyota Rav4.
The woman was taken to Leeds General Infirmary.
North Yorkshire Police said the road could be closed for a "few hours."
