All's wool that ends wool at Leeds textiles festival
Lambs and alpacas were among the stars of the show as textile enthusiasts descended on Armley Mills Industrial Museum for the third Leeds Wood Festival.
The event on Saturday was described as an exciting combination of shopping and a celebration of woolly heritage, with workshops, demonstrations of now rare skills and machinery, talks and performances.
Attractions included live music and dance performances inspired by Yorkshire’s textile industry and films in the 1920s cinema, including the award winning ‘Addicted to Sheep’.
