And so they come ...

The first of an expected 70,000 music fans have begun arriving for this year's Leeds Festival.

Headline acts including Guns N’Roses, the Libertines and Dizzee Rascal are all due to play at the Bramham Park site over the three-day festival which runs from tomorrow until Sunday night.

Police are warning of drivers of major congestion in the area and further afield and have issued a revised traffic plan for local roads. Today is likely to be the busiest for traffic, with police setting up two special routes to the site to try to ease congestion.
