Appeal: Police find puppy abandoned down dark country lane in Yorkshire
Police have launched an appeal after they rescued a puppy which had been abandoned 'down a dark country lane' in Yorkshire.
While on patrol in the East Bierley area, Batley and Spen police in West Yorkshire came across this dog, which had been abandoned in her cage down a dark isolated country lane.
The force said: "Vets confirm she is in good health and thought to be about 9 months old, unfortunately she has not been chipped.
"If anyone has any information about where she may have come from please ring 101. A dog is not just for Christmas."
