Assault at Mission nightclub in Leeds leaves Doncaster man blind in one eye

A Doncaster man was left blind in one eye after a fight in the Mission nightclub under Leeds railway arches.

The 26-year-old victim became involved in a disagreement with another man inside the club in the early hours of Sunday, July 3.

A fight ensued and the victim was punched in the face.

Today British Transport Police issued this CCTV image of a man they want to speak to about the incident.

PC David Bentley said: “The victim has lost his sight in one eye and is undergoing regular medical treatment. We are unsure at this time if he will regain his sight.

“It’s important that we speak to the man pictured – if you recognise him, please contact us.”
