Beauty spot alert after sex assault
Officers from South Yorkshire Police have been ordered to carry out daily patrols at Denaby Crags amid concerns a criminal is prowling the site, which is next to a nature reserve.
It comes after a 25-year-old woman was attacked as she walked towards a nearby cemetery at around 2pm on Saturday.

Hide AdThe victim is said to have been approached from behind and assaulted by a white man who was around 6ft tall with a local accent, wearing a dark hoooded jumper and scruffy black trainers.
Witnesses who may have seen someone matching the description in the area on the same day are being urged to come forward. Police are also discouraging people from walking alone in the area.
A spokesman for South Yorkshire Police said: “This remains a high priority ongoing investigation and officers would like to encourage anyone to report any suspicious incidents to police.
“If you have concerns about safety whilst walking in the area, please avoid walking alone where possible.”
