Belles of the ball ready to dazzle...

Last year’s event was a sell-out and tickets for this month’s ball on Friday are available from the House of Rose and Brown in Victoria Road, Saltaire, and from the event’s own website.

Organiser Caroline Brown said: “The dress code is fabulous and the theme is silver. With champagne cocktails, gourmet canapes and live music and a DJ, we hope to get this year’s Saltaire Festival off to a sparkling start.”

The festival takes place from Thursday, September 8, and runs until the 18th. There is a varied programme of exhibitions, performances, markets and food.
