CCTV images released following Doncaster robbery

DETECTIVES investigating the robbery and assault of a 62-year-old man in Doncaster have released CCTV images of a man they wish to speak to.

The victim was walking along Park Road at around 1am on Monday July 20, when, at the junction with East Laithe Gate, he was approached by an unknown man.

It is alleged that the unknown man punched the 62-year-old, causing him to fall to the ground. The suspect is believed to have taken his wallet before leaving the scene.

The victim was taken to hospital to be treated for facial injuries.

Police have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the investigation.
