Celebrity chef Aldo Zilli becomes part of Leeds’ dining scene

The Italian-born cook visited the city yesterday to celebrate a new collaboration with the San Carlo group, which owns San Carlo on South Parade in Leeds city centre and the Flying Pizza at Roundhay.

Aldo has created a special selection of fish dishes to go on the menu in the Leeds restaurants.

He said: “I see that Jamie Oliver has opened a restaurant down the road so everybody seems to want to be in this town.

“So it’s great to team up with one of the most established restaurants in the city.”

San Carlo Group chairman, Carlo Distefano said: “Aldo will bring his great love of Italian food to our restaurants and a lot of fun too.”
