Circus promises spectacle

A MAMMOTH cast of Russia’s greatest and most talented circus artistes, many of whom have never performed in Britain, are set to transform the most famous circus in the world at Bradford’s St George’s Hall.

Inspired by the legend of The 12 Chairs, Babushkin Sekret is a new show presented by The Moscow State Circus and will run in Bradford from Tuesday, January 29 to January 31.

A spokeswoman said the newly devised show “includes a revolving aerial chandelier, The Whirlwind Rubsovs Troupe who acrobatically catapult themselves at breakneck speed and The Doktorov, flying and spiralling in the apex of the auditorium with grace, beauty and elegance”.
