City hosts street performer festival
FIRE breather Andrew Sumpton helped to throw some light on one of York’s most famous landmarks yesterday.
The street performer, who was at York Minster yesterday, is one of more than fifty performers who will be taking part in this year’s Buskival event in the city.
The event will run on May 25 and 26 in the city centre. As part of the two-day festival there will be a competition for members of the public to choose their favourite busker and there will be a range of free skills workshops, including juggling sessions, for children and families.
