Comic Davidson arrested again over sex claims

The former Generation Game and Big Break host was one of two men to answer bail yesterday after they were held in January by detectives working on Operation Yewtree, the national investigation prompted by the Jimmy Savile sex abuse scandal.

Davidson, along with the 53-year-old man who had been arrested in Hampshire, was bailed until May.

At the time of his first arrest, his solicitor Henri Brandman said he “vigorously denied” the allegations.

Last week DJ Dave Lee Travis was also arrested for a second time after further allegations made to Operation Yewtree detectives. He again denied any wrongdoing.
