Armed gang raids Leeds post office
ARMED robbers raided a Leeds post office this morning.
The gang, wearing balaclavas and brandishing a knife and a hammer, grabbed cash from a cash-in-transit guard at the branch on Dixon Lane, Wortley, at about 10.45am.
The four men then jumped in a red getaway car and escaped, despite the reported attempts of a member of the public to stop them. The car was later found abandoned.
