Arrest after OAP badly hurt in attack at Yorkshire working men's club

A PENSIONER  suffered serious head injuries when he was attacked at a working men's club in Doncaster last night.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the 65-year-old man was assaulted in Skellow Working's Club on Skellow Road at around 11pm yesterday. (Sun Jan 22)

He was taken to hospital with serious head injuries, which are not deemed to be life-threatening.

A 32-year-old man was arrested by officers on suspicion of assault and remains in police custody today being questioned by officers.
