CCTV shows moment trio witnessed violent Leeds robbery
This is the moment three people may have witnessed a violent New Year’s Day robbery in Leeds city centre.
The CCTV image shows two men and a woman appearing to look in the direction of the incident as they crossed Merrion Way at the back of the Merrion Centre.
It was recorded shortly after 2am on Wednesday, January 1, at about the same time that a 30-year-old man was being assaulted and robbed by two men.
Police are trying to trace the trio.
