Do you recognise this, er, top? Police get bum steer on petrol station raid

POLICE in East Yorkshire are hunting for a suspected criminal with nothing to go on but a picture of his bottom.

The suspect was caught on CCTV climbing onto a counter at a service station - exposing his rear as he bent over.

Officers say although the image only shows his exposed back, they hope people might recognise his “distinctive top and trainers”.

The burglary took place at the Oasis service station near Skirlaugh, between 3am and 3.15am on Monday, November 3.

A Humberside Police spokeswoman said: “We are appealing for people to look at the top and shoes and help identify the person wearing them.”
