Doncaster couple threatened as armed robbers burst into their home

The man suffered a facial injury and police said the couple have been left “incredibly shaken” by their ordeal.

It began when the two men, who had stockings over their heads, got into the property, close to the Hatfield Chase pub off the A18 Doncaster Road, Hatfield, around 5am on Wednesday.

The two suspects fled with jewellery, including a Breitling watch.

Officers want to hear from anyone who saw a vehicle being driven at speed in the Dunscroft and Hatfield areas of Doncaster or anything else suspicious.
