Police are appealing for anyone who recognises the e-fit to get in contact.

Officers want to speak to the man about an allegation of a serious assault on a person waiting for a bus on Compton Road, Harehills.

The victim was treated in hospital after being stabbed at the bus stop opposite Compton Library and Community Centre around 7.30pm last Saturday.

The man officers want to speak to in connection with the incident is described as black, aged in his late 20s or early 30s, with short shaved black hair and a bushy short beard.

He was around 5’8” to 5’10” and was wearing blue jeans and a black Adidas hooded top with a large white Adidas logo.
