Former Barnsley FC assistant head coach Tommy Wright avoids prison after bribery offences
Tommy Wright, 54, has today been sentenced to 12 months in prison, suspended for 12 months, after he was previously found guilty of two charges of receiving or accepting a bribe in contravention of the Bribery Act 2000.
Football agent Dax Price, 48, of Sittingbourne, Kent, was handed an 18-month sentence, suspended for 18 months, after being convicted of two charges of offering or promising a bribe contrary to the same act.

Hide AdGiuseppe "Pino" Pagliara, 64, of Bury, Greater Manchester, another agent originally from Italy, was given a two-year sentence, suspended for two years, after also being found guilty of two charges of offering or promising a bribe.
The trio, who were brought to trial after an undercover investigation by the Daily Telegraph into corruption in football, were sentenced by Judge Jeffrey Pegden QC at Southwark Crown Court.
