Further arrests in Sheffield murder investigation

South Yorkshire Police confirmed tonight that a 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and a 23-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Both remain in police custody and are being questioned by officers.

Five other people remain on bail in connection with the investigation and enquiries are ongoing.

Mr Al-Essaie was shot at around 1.35pm on Saturday February 18 in Daniel Hill, Walkley. He was taken to hospital where he died.

Detectives investigating his death would still like to hear from anyone with information about the incident.
