The court heard that in the early hours on Sunday October 20, Renshaw's victim heard a loud bang and saw Renshaw walk into the woman's bedroom armed with a box knife and a flick knife.

Mr Robertshaw said Renshaw told the man "you are getting it now" before running across the bedroom and lunging at him.

The victim jumped out of bed and pushed Renshaw away.
