Police have made an arrest in Yorkshire after an investigation into a suspicious incident where a man attempted to take a child out of a pram.

Detectives investigating reports of a suspicious incident in Eccleshill on Sunday evening (Nov 27) have arrested a man.

A 40 year old man has been arrested after an incident on Acre Crescent where a man attempted to take a child out of a pram, police confirmed.

He remains in police custody at this time.
