Police are investigating a robbery in Huddersfield
A 22-year-old man was assaulted and had his bag stolen as he returned home from work in Huddersfield.

The victim was walking along Norcross Avenue when a man pushed him from behind and attacked him before taking his bag.

The attacker was described as white, 5ft 11ins tall and wearing matching dark tracksuit bottoms and a hooded top which was covering his face.

The incident happened at around 2am on Friday morning.

Det Con Sarah Culley, of Kirklees CID, said: “We are investigating this incident and would like to speak to anyone who may have been in the area at the time and saw what happened, or who might have seen a man dressed in black with a hood up running away from the scene with a bag.”
