A motorcyclist has died after a crash on the A19, police said.
North Yorkshire Police officers are appealing for witnesses and information following a fatal collision on Friday June 19 on the A19, just north of Chapel Haddlesey.
The incident occurred at approximately 1:50pm and involved a black Honda motorcycle and a red Vauxhall Corsa, police said.
The rider of the motorcycle, a 34-year-old man from the Selby area, was taken to hospital.

His family have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
The driver of the Vauxhall Corsa, an 18-year-old man, is helping officers with their enquiries.
Officers are particularly keen to speak to the driver of a red Seat Ibiza, which is believed to have been travelling directly behind the Corsa at the time of the collision.
This driver may hold vital information that could assist with the investigation.
Police officers are also urging anyone who witnessed the collision, or who saw either of the vehicles prior to the incident, to come forward.
