Owner’s son forces masked robbers to flee empty-handed from Leeds shop
Three men targeted Nandhra and Sons, in Cow Close Road, Wortley, at about 9.30pm on Tuesday, March 24.
They pulled up outside the shop in a stolen VW Passat. One stormed in shouting “Give me the money” while the other two stood near the door.

Hide AdDet Con Phil Joyce, of Leeds District CID, said: “The owner’s son confronted the first man who quickly retreated forcing the other two out of the store. They then got back into the car and drove off.
“Although the men had their faces covered, I would like to hear from anyone who may recognise them from the clothing they are shown wearing in the CCTV images.”
The getaway car, registration LM02 OWF, was stolen from the Bramley area on March 23.
Det Con Joyce added: “That vehicle has still not been recovered and I would like to hear from anyone who knows its current whereabouts or has any information on who may be using it.”
