Police make another arrest over Leeds woods murder

Police investigating the murder of a Leeds man whose body was found in woods in Leeds have arrested a 31-year-old man.

The man, from Leeds, was arrested in Bolton last night on suspicion of the murder of Colin Pierre, who was found dead in woods near the junction of Gledhow Valley Road and Gledhow Lane shortly after 8am on Tuesday, March 11.

Four other people were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Two men have already appeared in court charged in connection with Mr Pierre’s death.

Trevor Isles, 48, and Dennis Wilson, 36, appeared in court last week and are accused of kidnapping and murdering 31-year-old Colin Pierre.

The body of Mr Pierre, who was from Gipton in Leeds, was discovered by schoolchildren in Gledhow Valley Woods, near the junction of Gledhow Valley Road and Gledhow Lane, in Chapel Allerton, shortly after 8am on Tuesday, March 11.
