Police name 17-year-old boy found dead on bank of the River Hull

Humberside Police have named a 17-year-old boy as the person who was found dead on the bank of the River Hull on Tuesday.

Connor Lyons, from Hull, was discovered at 8.20am yesterday in the Ennerdale area.

Officers are continuing to investigate the circumstances of Mr Lyons' death, which is being treated as unexplained.

A postmortem examination is due to take place on Wednesday and police are supporting his family.

A statement from Humberside Police said: "Out of respect for Mr Lyons and his family, we ask that you do not speculate about the circumstances of his death online."
