Police probe Leeds estate gunfire report
POLICE have taped off part of a Leeds estate after reports of gunfire in the early hours of this morning.
Officers were called to Savile Park off Chapeltown Road just after 2am today.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police, said: “At 2.09am this morning, police received reports of a possible firearm discharge in the area around Savile Park off Chapeltown Road.
“A daylight search of the area is ongoing and an area remains sealed off while this takes place.
“At this stage no evidence has been found to confirm that any firearm was discharged.”
