Watch: Police seize guns, ammunition, cash and stolen motorbikes in Yorkshire raids
Two people have been arrested after police seized guns, ammunition, cash and stolen motorbikes during a series of raids across Doncaster.
South Yorkshire Police’s Operation Fortify team raided a number of homes in the Highfields area of the city following information suggesting reports of criminality.
On April 27, police raided four properties where they seized two quad bikes and a motorbike, as well as discovering a shotgun, a loaded revolver, ammunition and nitrous oxide cannisters.
The following day, another raid was carried out and a man tried to flee through the back when police smashed down the door.
He was arrested alongisde a woman at the address on suspicion of money laundering offences after large bundles of cash were found beneath the bed and under a pillow.
The man was also arrested on suspicion of immigration offences.
The vehicles which were discovered at the first raid are suspected to have been stolen, and the force is now trying to reunite them with their owners.

Detective Sergeant Mark Jones, who leads Doncaster's Operation Fortify unit, said: "Our work focuses around identifying and disrupting organised crime gangs operating in our city.
"These groups threaten the safety of our local communities, bringing violence to people's doorsteps and exploiting vulnerable people who are often recruited to work on county lines and assist with their illicit activities.
"We will not tolerate criminals who threaten the safety of innocent people and that is why we work alongside partner agencies to target these groups, using your intelligence to take enforcement action and protect our communities from harm.
"Your information and intelligence is crucial and helps us to take positive enforcement action so if you spot something suspicious in your neighbourhood, please report it to us.
“We are here to listen, and we are here to act on your concerns so we can disrupt these criminal enterprises and keep you and your loved ones safe."
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
