The group rode illegally through Sheffield and Rotherham on Halloween and there were several reports of dangerous driving.

South Yorkshire Police are now trying to trace the man in the clown suit.

Anyone who knows his identity or who may have footage of the crash is asked to contact the force on 101 quoting incident number 407 of October 31.

Mad Max-style 'Halloween rideouts' have become a phenomenon in recent years, with the gatherings organised on social media. In 2016, over 100 riders took part in an event in Leeds which resulted in several of those identified being given prison sentences.
