Restaurant damaged during violent disorder in Harrogate

A RESTAURANT was damaged during what police have described as "violent disorder" between a group of men and women in Harrogate.

North Yorkshire Police said criminal damage was caused to a restaurant on Cheltenham Parade during the incident.

It happened between 8pm and 8.10pm on Sunday April 23, but police only released details today.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "It involved a violent disorder between a group of men and women, resulting in criminal damage being caused to a local restaurant

"We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
