Teenager charged with murder and two others arrested after man, 26, stabbed to death in Stockton

A 17-year-old boy has been charged with murder after a 26-year-old was stabbed to death in Stockton.

Just after midnight on Thursday (Sept 19), Cleveland Police responded to reports of an incident in Stockton.

The incident happened just outside a property in Hills Drive, when a 26-year-old man was stabbed and died at the scene.

On Friday (Sept 20), the man who died has been identified as Lewis Bell, 26, from Stockton.

Now Cleveland Police has confirmed a 17-year-old boy has been charged with murder and is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court on Monday (Sept 23).

Two men aged 19 and 25 have also been arrested on suspicion of murder.

They remain in police custody at this time.

A further five people were arrested in connection with the murder investigation last week remain on police bail.
