The Moody Cow: Cannabis farm discovered inside former Yorkshire restaurant as men flee into woods
A cannabis farm has been discovered inside a former restaurant in Yorkshire today.
Shortly before 11am this morning officers attended a report of a suspected cannabis farm at the former Moody Cow steakhouse, in Apperley Lane, Apperley Bridge.
A number of men fled from the scene into woodland and onto the railway line, police confirmed.
Officers searched the area and detained two men nearby.
They have been arrested on suspicion of cannabis production, police said.
A scene remains in place at the building and enquiries are ongoing.
