Third person held over Sheffield Manor murder

A THIRD person has been arrested in connection with the murder of a 23-year-old man from Sheffield who was stabbed.

Joe Walker, from Intake, was found injured off Rayland Road, in the Manor area of the city, on Saturday.

A 21-year-old woman from Sheffield is in custody on suspicion of assisting an offender, South Yorkshire Police said.

A 17-year-old has already been remanded in custody on suspicion of murder while a 16-year-old girl from Sheffield, who was arrested on suspicion of murder and assisting an offender, has been released on bail pending further inquiries.

Police have asked anyone with information about the circumstances surrounding Mr Walker’s death to get in touch.
