Twelve Humberside officers who put their lives on the line up for national bravery award
The incident unfolded on September 11 2018 in the Barclays Bank and Santander branches.

Hide AdClosed circuit television captured dramatic footage of terrified customers and staff as Ahmad Mohammed, 25, splashed petrol around, waved the meat cleaver, and set fire to the floor at Santander.
He was later stopped in Paragon Station by officers who disabled him using rubber bullets and Tasers.
Mohammed was later detained to a secure hospital.
Helen Collier, secretary of Humberside Police Federation, said the officers had acted in the finest traditions of British policing, putting their lives on the line to protect members of the public.

Hide AdThis year’s ceremony has been postponed until next July. A total of 94 brave officers from forces across England and Wales have been put forward for an award,.
John Apter, chair of the Police Federation of England and Wales, said: “We are incredibly proud of all the nominees from across England and Wales. The actions of these courageous officers provide a small snapshot of the amazing work our colleagues carry out day in and day out.
“All of these officers should feel incredibly proud of the part they played in resolving this incident without loss of life.
