'Unidentified' body discovered at Yorkshire pumping station as police warn to avoid area
A body has been discovered at a Yorkshire pumping station.
North Yorkshire Police officers received reports of a body found at Selby Dam Pumping Station on Wednesday morning shortly after 9.30am.
Emergency services are currently at the scene.
A spokesperson for NYP said: “We're asking people to avoid the area.
"The body is yet to be identified - enquiries are ongoing.”
