The road has been closed since the incident to enable accident investigation work to be conducted and diversions are in place.

The vehicle had travelled along Brigg Road towards the roundabout but before arriving at the roundabout appears to have lost control and collided with a central island and street furniture.

Police need to speak to any witnesses to the incident and ask that anyone with information rings 101 referring to log 35 of Monday July 25.
