Widow devastated after motorbike theft

A woman has been left heartbroken after thieves broke into a garage and stole her late husband’s custom-made Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Police say the Harley was the pride and joy of the Doncaster woman’s husband and holds “untold sentimental value to her” after he died in January.

She said: “I am devastated the Harley has been stolen, my husband absolutely loved his bike. He would take and show it at bike exhibitions and even had it featured in a motorcycle magazine. I would urge anyone who knows anything to please contact the police so it can be returned back to me.”

The break-in took place at a detached garage between September 19 and 22.

The custom-designed 121 cubic inch, TP Engineering V-twin-engined motorcycle has a bespoke Medusa paint scheme.

Anyone with information or who may have seen the bike should call South Yorkshire Police on 101.
