East Yorkshire's Area Director Ben Gilligan posted photographs of the damage caused to the vehicles, saying he was "appalled" by the act.
Mr Gilligan said: "Absolutely appalled that two of our buses were targeted tonight at Castle Hill Hospital by vandals throwing objects and smashing windows. Bus drivers are key workers providing a service for other key workers. We will follow this up."

"Our bus drivers are key workers and should not have to put up with this in their place of work.
"We will be pursuing the culprits for this but would like to thank Humberside Police and the staff at Castle Hill Hospital for supporting our bus driver colleagues and customers on Sunday night.”

“Three youths were reported to have been at the bus stop and were seen to throw rocks at the buses which caused broken windows and damage to the paintwork.
“Thankfully no one was injured in the attacks but this is wholly unacceptable behaviour and we will make sure this dealt with in the most appropriate manner.
