The Lister Arms in Malham was voted “best for relaxing by the fire”, by users of the website innplaces.co.uk.
The pub, a short stroll from Malham Cove, is said to be “the perfect inn for a walking break with your canine companion, with miles of stunning footpaths from the front door”.
In the bar, a space is reserved for dogs to snooze on their own bed, in front of a roaring fire.
The pub donates 10 per cent of a dog’s stay to the Search and Rescue Dog Association.
Some 14 other pubs across Britain also make the grade.
