Inspections were carried out at Evergreen residential home which houses 15 adults, after the Care Quality Commission (CQC) was contacted by two separate whistleblowers.

Inspectors found the service was not safe, caring, responsive, well-led or effective.

“The service will be kept under review and, if we have not taken immediate action to propose to cancel the provider’s registration of the service, will be inspected again within six months,” the CQC report said. “The expectation is that providers should have made significant improvements within this timeframe.”

The inspection, released this week, was carried out in March.

Evergreen residential home was unavailable for comment.
