Detectives thank public after ‘vulnerable’ missing girl found safe and well

DETECTIVES in Leeds have thanked the public after a vulnerable teenage girl who went missing from Bramley on Wednesday was found.

Stephanie Armstrong, aged 16, was found “safe and well” in Leeds city centre in the early hours of this morning (Friday).

Police had earlier launched an urgent appeal to find the teenager, who had been missing since 12.50pm on Wednesday.

A police spokesperson said: “We are very grateful to everyone who shared the appeal and rang in with information which led to her being traced.”
