After photobombing a selfie taken by a group of girls on the Tube, Doncaster MP Ed Miliband has become an internet sensation once again.

After student Alice Harrison noticed the Doncaster North MP smirking in the background of her selfie, he asked if he could pose for a picture with her and her friends.

Alice said on Twitter: "When @Ed_Miliband asks for a photo because he catches you taking a selfie on the tube"

Alice posted the Tweet with both photographs yesterday afternoon, and since then it has received over 5,000 likes and been retweeted more than 1,000 times.

Mr Miliband may no longer lead the Labour Party but the so-called 'Milifandom,' which was coined around the time of the 2015 General Election, still lives on.
