Dress designer hails Kate and sister Pippa

The designer, who has also dressed stars such as Jennifer Lopez and Demi Moore, said it was flattering to see the sisters in her creations.

She was speaking at the launch of her Somerset collection at John Lewis in Central London.

She said: “Awareness is good for any brand and they’re wonderful girls to dress and wonderful girls to be around, so I think it’s all flattering.

“It’s just as flattering though to see somebody walking down the street in something as well.

“For me, it’s really about people looking good and enjoying the clothes no matter who they are,” she said.

Temperley designed the gown Kate wore to the premiere of the War Horse film earlier this year, with pictures of the elegant Duchess beamed around the world.

Pippa was in the front row of Temperley’s London Fashion Week show last September.
