Driver left ‘wedged’ after snow crash
Fire crews in North Yorkshire were called out after a car left the road in heavy snow and became wedged between a tree and a dry stone wall, trapping the female driver.
Crews were called to the incident just after 8pm yesterday and used small tools to free the lady, who was uninjured, leaving the scene shortly after 9pm.
A firefighter at Harrogate said conditions in the area were very snowy.
Minor delays were reported this morning at Gildersome Roundabout (Junction 27 of the M62) and at the B6154 Galloway Lane, Pudsey.
