Drivers suffer serious injuries after crash near Howden

The crash happened on the A614, close to Spaldington, and involved a white Ford Transit van and a red Ford Grand C-Max.

The male driver of the van, 50, suffered serious and life-threatening injuries in the collision, which happened at 9.30am yesterday (Monday).

A 51 year-old woman, who was driving the C-Max, also sustained serious injuries.

The road was closed for several hours yesterday after the crash to allow collision investigation to to take place.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to call police on 101, quoting log 153 29 May 2017.
