Economy adds to Obama's gloom
Gloomy US economic reports released yesterday are expected to contribute to big losses by President Barack Obama's Democratic Party in Tuesday's US midterm elections.
Voters unhappy with the slow recovery from recession are predicted to punish the party severely, costing the Democrats control of the House of Representatives and possibly the Senate.
