Four finalists will be selected to take part in a ‘cook off’ in front of visitors to the Country Land and Business Association’s annual countryside pursuits showcase, the Game Fair, which takes place at Harewood House near Leeds from Friday, July 31 to Sunday, August 2.

Dorothy Fairburn, the CLA’s regional director for the North, said: “This is a great opportunity for us to shine a spotlight on our county’s culinary expertise.”

Competitors will be judged by The Field editor Jonathan Young and chef Mike Robinson. For full details on how to enter the contest, see www.gamefair.co.uk
