The CLA Game Fair and The Field magazine are running a ‘Game Chef of the Year’ competition to identify two budding talents who reflect the great British countryside through their food.
Four finalists will be selected to take part in a ‘cook off’ in front of visitors to the Country Land and Business Association’s annual countryside pursuits showcase, the Game Fair, which takes place at Harewood House near Leeds from Friday, July 31 to Sunday, August 2.
Dorothy Fairburn, the CLA’s regional director for the North, said: “This is a great opportunity for us to shine a spotlight on our county’s culinary expertise.”
Competitors will be judged by The Field editor Jonathan Young and chef Mike Robinson. For full details on how to enter the contest, see www.gamefair.co.uk
